拥有更多物质并不等同于幸福。我曾花费大量时间网购新衣服和新产品，而要想找到下一个最好的商品会耗费许多精力。但当我冷静下来思考时，很快就意识到，其实我什么都不缺。这种思维习惯就像肌肉需要不断锻炼培养，我会尽量在购物时有意识地展开思考，而不是一时冲动而情绪化购物。当我真的需要买东西的时候，我会尽量选择二手商品，如果需要购买全新的，我会选择质量更高或可持续生产的商品。虽然会比价格低廉、批量生产的商品成本更高，但与之前的消费习惯相比，我认为自己还是节省了不少。

More stuff doesn't equate to happiness. I used to spend lots of time looking online for new clothing or products to purchase, and it took a lot of energy to find that next best thing. But when I took a step back, it didn't take long to admit that I have everything I need. Doing so is a mental muscle I need to continue to exercise, but I do my best to consciously think through purchases instead of buying things on impulse and pure emotion. When I do buy something, I do my best to purchase products secondhand, or if I buy new, I try to look for products that are higher quality or sustainably made. While they do cost more than cheaply mass manufactured goods, I would say that I am saving quite a bit compared to my previous spending habits.
