I'm someone who needs to share a lot and talk about my feelings in order to feel good on a daily basis. Literally, even if there's nobody around, I will talk out loud. I just find it so liberating. I asked myself what I wanted to prioritize during the rest of the summer, coming to the conclusion that I am in charge of my own happiness, as cheesy as that may sound. This trip helped me learn to prioritize my personal well-being over wanting to please others.
