The first most important thing when you're on your menstrual cycle is to get as much sleep as possible. I have the most crazy bedhead. I think I just sleep so restlessly whenever I'm on my period. Taking a really hot shower can help with your period cramps, but honestly, the reason I like taking scorching hot showers is because it's just really comforting to me. I forgo all my jeans and just wear leggings and a comfy sweatshirt. The worst thing is I have my period and I have a cold, and my throat is killing me. It's like a double whammy.
