有人问我：“你在20多岁的时候，是怎么最大限度地过好单身生活的？”我只谈过一次真正意义上的长期恋爱，也有两次断断续续地谈了较长一段时间，还有过很多短暂的暧昧拉扯，有趣的故事足以写进回忆录。所以当有人问我这个问题时，我会说，这可以让你完全自主地安排日程、做出决定、培养兴趣，以及确定人生方向。我认为在这个阶段，能暂时“自私”一点是很重要的，让自己考虑好想走什么样的道路，即使未来想有一段长期恋爱关系，在合适的时机，你也能以更好的伴侣形象出现。

So someone had asked me, "How do you make the most out of being single in your 20s?" I've only had one, like, really long-term relationship, and then there's, like, two other people that I dated for a decent amount of time on and off, and then there's been a lot of flings and whatnot and enough interesting stories to fill the memoir one day. So when someone asked me this, I said it allows total autonomy of your schedule, decisions, interests, and direction you're taking in life. I think it's important to be selfish in quotations in this season for a little while to understand what paths you want to pursue, so that you can show up as a better partner down the line when the timing is right if you want a long-term relationship.
