From the moment we set foot on European soil, we were all anticipating arriving in Italy as my family's favorite vacation destination, as my grad trip location. Italy holds a sweet place in my heart and brings me so much comfort to visit. We stayed at the Plus Hostel, which I highly recommend for its proximity to the city center, its cleanliness, and its friendly staff. Wanting to get our first fix of many of Italian gelato, we walked to La Carraia. After dinner, we set out to explore the city and walked to the Duomo, which was such a majestic sight. It glowed in the night.
